TU Delft OpenCourseWare and Collegerama on Edulearn10, Barcelona (Spain)
Last week the Edulearn10 conference was held in Barcelona: http://www.iated.org/edulearn10/
Edulearn is an international conference on Education and New Learning Technologies.
The conference was attended by some 550 delegates from 5 continents and more than 65 countries.
In total some 400 papers were presented in 6 parallel oral sessions, 120 posters were on display, and also some 120 virtual presentations were held.
TU Delft was represented by presentations of:
- Marcel Ludema (TBM, Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics)
- Wout Toorn Vrijthoff (Bk, Real Estate Management and development)
- Peter de Moel (CiTG, Watermanagement).
The two presentations of Peter de Moel were focused on recorded lectures as used in TU Delft OpenCourseWare:
- Recorded lectures for international curriculum exchange in Watermanagement
- Navigation and searching in recorded lectures
The latter paper was honoured by a session chair position for the session E-content Management and Development.
Both papers can be found on our website: http://ocw.tudelft.nl/about-opencourseware/ocw-in-the-media/
The conference was held in the days of the semi finals of the Wold Cup Soccer. The day after the conference I was able to see Spain winning the match against Germany in a typical Barcelona Tapas Bar, as part of an excursion organized by our Spanish student Laia Moré Roca.
The day before I had already visited Barcelona’s (and Catalans) most important temple: Camp Nou, located some 300 meters from the conference hotel (Yes, I have read the papers from the missed presentations….).
Regards
Peter de Moel
