Today we published a new course: Information Literacy for Master’s and PhD students.

This course is about the knowledge of information literacy.
Writing your Master’s thesis involves a number of different phases. You cannot simply start writing! You will first need extensive knowledge of the general field of research, in order to see where your subject fits in.

Then you will have to draw up an overview of the key topics relating to your particular subject. A mind map will give you a better understanding of your subject and the terms you collect will be useful during your subsequent literature search.

When you have started writing, you will have to incorporate the literature you found in your thesis, but you will also still want to keep up-to-date with new publications and developments. And when your thesis is finished, you may want to start work on your first scientific publication.

This course will support you during the entire process. The six parts of this course consist of questions, answers and demos connected to the different phases of your thesis preparation. You can either study each part separately or as part of a complete course.
